1. What is the cause of cancer

 

There are two types of causes of cancer: precipitating causes and underlying causes. Causes include: diet, emotion, genetics, occupation, smoking, drinking, sun exposure, hormones, radiation, bruises, pesticides, viruses, fatigue, hypoxia, heavy metals, parasites, free radicals, chronic inflammation, chemicals, environmental pollution , food additives, etc. However, the fundamental reason is that the body's natural anti-cancer ability has declined and cannot eliminate cancer cells produced by various triggering factors.

Studies have proven that if several predisposing factors occur at the same time, the caner occurring theshold will be greatly reduced. In other words, the probability of cancer will be greatly increased. When several disease factors come together, their multiplicative pathogenic effects will be greatly increased, the disease process will be unstoppable, the immunity of the body will be weakened, and the disease will take root in the most fragile organs and tissues. The medical community generally believes that cancer cells are caused by genetic chromosomal disorders due to some unknown reasons. It is still not possible to accurately understand the growth mechanism of cancer cells and the rules of gene mutations.

Cancer cells are indeed caused by genetic mutations, but it is not a "disorder" but a purposeful transformation. It is not that the cause is unknown, but that the truth has been revealed.

 

Can normal cells survive in harsh environments such as highly toxic, strong radiation, strong acid, or lack of oxygen? What would be the consequences if it fails and causes massive cell death? Certain diseases can cause a large number of body cells to die within a day or two or within a few hours, and the patient will undoubtedly die. Normal cells have a mechanism that can change genes when faced with harsh environments that threaten survival, allowing them to adapt to the environment and continue to survive. Therefore, cancer cells can survive in hypoxic or highly toxic environments. This avoids the consequences of massive cell death. However, this is a temporary measure after all. After the harsh life-threatening environment disappears, cancer cells will undergo apoptosis or reverse transformation into normal cells under the influence of the body's self-healing function. It can be seen that cancer cells are not evil, but the savior of extending life.

 

Once we understand why normal cells become cancerous, it will be much easier to further understand their characteristics.


Cancer cells are produced by changing genes, for example lung cancer or colorectal cancer, once discovered more than a dozen genes are often mutated. Rapid metamorphosis is its innate ability, and its genes change is faster than a chameleon changing color. In the face of highly toxic drugs, drug resistance quickly develops, and no matter how poisonous the drug is, it is helpless. Therefore, the approach of using highly toxic drugs to fight cancer is doomed to failure. This is the fundamental reason why there has been no progress in the fight against cancer with chemotherapy for decades. On the contrary, chemotherapy makes the environment in the body worse, which is the reason why more normal cells become cancerous. Strong radiation is also the cause of canceration of normal cells. So while radiotherapy is killing cancer cells, isn't it also creating new cancer cells? There are more than 200 types of cancer in humans, and there are thousands of oncogenes related to cancer. In terms of the malignancy of cancer, it can be divided into well-differentiated (low malignancy), moderately differentiated and poorly differentiated (high malignancy) cancers. When normal cells face a harsh environment that threatens their survival, they transform into cancer cells in order to gain extraordinary survivability. They will not be detected and eliminated by the body's immune system at the moment of birth. Cancer cells are hard-wired to disguise themselves and evade detection by the immune system. Cancer cells can produce chemicals that disguise themselves as embryos. Both the fetus and cancer cells produce chorionic gonadotropin, which protects the fetus from attack by the immune system. Cancer cells can also release "blocking factors" to anesthetize the body's immune system so that they can evade the body's immune surveillance.

Understanding the characteristics of cancer cells is crucial. Our view of what cancer cells are will influence what treatments we use, which ultimately determines a patient's chances of recovery.

 

 

3. How cancer cells reproduce and metastasize

 

Cancer cells are new life forms that have the function of self-protection and their own unique rules of reproduction. Once cancer cells are produced, they will reproduce according to their own characteristics and are no longer bound by the laws of proliferation of other cells. Basically, cancer cells are not very tough cells (it is not easy to cultivate them in the laboratory). Their most important characteristics are that they are good at camouflage and good at changing the environment in the host body to make it suitable for their own survival. Cancer cells actively and continuously change the environment in the host's body since their birth. This includes weakening their reconnaissance capabilities and anti-cancer immune functions, creating a highly inflammatory microenvironment and overall environment, thickening the blood, destroying the mechanism of fever, and making body fluids acidic. It reduces the oxygen content of body fluids and cells, turns the masculine body into a cold constitution, and ultimately pushes the body into the abyss of cachexia. This is a great discovery because it allows us to understand how cancer cells multiply and metastasize, and also allows us to develop countermeasures.

During their metabolism, cancerous tumors will continuously release lactic acid, making body fluids and cells acidic, because an alkaline environment is not conducive to the survival of cancer cells. At the same time, cancer cells also release another toxin called L50, which is a strong acidic substance that attacks immune cells in the body and causes severe pain. The longer cancerous tumors exist, the more acidic the body becomes.

The acidic internal environment has another negative consequence, that is, the acidic body will reduce the oxygen content in the body. Tests have shown that alkaline liquids absorb oxygen more easily. For example, weakly alkaline liquids absorb 100 times more oxygen than weakly acidic liquids. Cancer cells like an oxygen-deprived environment because oxygen threatens their survival. Cancer cells can survive in a hypoxic environment. Their genetic structure is designed for this. They have anaerobic properties in their bones. Therefore, cancer cells will reduce the oxygen content of body fluids and cells to ensure that their surrounding environment continues to be hypoxic. The way cancer cells release lactic acid is to kill two birds with one stone. It not only acidifies the body, but also reduces the oxygen content in the body.

 

Cancer cells secrete coagulation factors to make the blood thicker and easier to metastasize. The spread and metastasis of cancer cells, especially through blood drift, must first find a place to take root, otherwise they will be easily discovered and eliminated by the immune system. There is evidence that coagulation must occur before long-distance transfers occur. Thick blood and blood stasis provide a place for cancer cells to settle, allowing cancer cells to metastasize. Coagulation factors can also promote the formation of thrombi, allowing cancer cells to enter blood vessels and attach to the blood vessel walls and other parts to continue growing and metastasizing. As they circulate in the blood, cancer cells also clump together platelets (cells that help clot blood) to disguise themselves. Immune function normally does not attack its own platelets, and this camouflage allows cancer cells to drift safely.

Through testing of the blood of cancer patients, it was found that more than 85% of the blood viscosity indicators were abnormal. Those who had metastasized were higher than those who had not metastasized, those who were in the middle stage were higher than those who were in the early stage, and those who died were much higher than that of survivors. In addition, the larger immunoglobulin and other antibodies and fibrin of cancer cells, together with platelets and incompletely digested fat particles in the blood, will aggregate with cancer cells to form tumor thrombi. Cancer thrombus can easily drift to places other than the primary tumor and adhere to the blood vessel wall to form secondary metastasis.

Cancer cells, masters of disguise, can also produce chemicals that disguise themselves as embryonic cells, causing the immune system to mistake them for embryonic cells and thus not detect their existence. Due to the invisible ability of cancer cells, simply strengthening immune function is not enough to kill cancer cells.

Is cancer caused by weakness or the weaknss caused by cancer? Research has found that cancerous tumors release an enzyme that suppresses immune function, alpha-N-acetylgalactosaminidase enzyme (Nagalase), causing a rapid decline in immune function. This way the immune function can no longer detect and destroy cancer cells. Reduced immune function also makes patients susceptible to other diseases. When cancer cells proliferate, they release a variety of cancer toxins, which can inhibit the hematopoietic function of the bone marrow, reduce blood iron content, and cause anemia. The overall size and weight of the tumor is quite small, but it can cause great damage. Ancient books record that Hua Tuo "cut open the abdomen and back, and cut off the accumulation." 1700 years ago, the great Chinese medical scientist Hua Tuo used surgery to treat cancer, but at that time it was not called cancer, but "nodule", which means tumor, and it was not called surgery, but "cutting". Hua Tuo used cutting to treat many cancer patients. He said: "If the disease is accumulated in the silt and cannot be reached by acupuncture, and it needs to be cut, drink hemp powder (i.e. anesthetic), and you will be drunk to become unconscious in a short time. If the disease is in the intestines, then cut open and wash, and the abdomen was sutured and rubbed with ointment. It lasted four to five days, but there was no pain and the patient did not sleep. Traditional Chinese medicine does not isolate "cutting", but supplements it with medicated diet, acupuncture, qigong and other methods, so it has excellent curative effect.

 

Cancer cells are afraid of heat. If the body temperature can be raised to the extreme, cancer cells will die before normal cells because cancer cells are not heat-resistant. In the mid-19th century, Busch reported a case of a patient with terminal melanoma who developed a fever exceeding 40 degrees Celsius after being infected with erysipelas. The tumor completely disappeared after a few days. Later, there were reports one after another that the tumors of cancer patients shrank or even disappeared after high fever. In order to survive, cancer cells will gradually destroy the body's fever mechanism. This is why cancer patients, except for leukemia patients (in fact, many doctors do not classify leukemia as cancer), do not have high fever and can only maintain a low fever of about 38 degrees. Only after the cancer cells are eliminated will the body develop a high fever. When cancer cells further develop and spread, even the most masculine physique will transform into a yin and cold physique.

The formation, proliferation and metastasis of cancer cells are closely related to the inflammatory state. Inflammation promotes the formation and development of cancer cells. Cancer cells cause inflammation in the body. The more severe the inflammation, the more active the cancer cells will be, and the more active the cancer cells will be, the further the inflammation will be aggravated, forming a vicious cycle. Inflammation also promotes the creation of new blood vessels within tumors, accelerating tumor growth and spread.

Cancer cells are quite adaptable and are changing their DNA structure almost every week, making them resistant to drugs. Chemotherapy drugs must kill cancer cells in the second injection, otherwise once drug resistance develops, no amount of chemotherapy drugs will be able to do anything. The same is true for herbal medicines. Their ability to directly kill cancer cells becomes ineffective after being used for a period of time. Herbal medicines are effective because they also have other functions, such as promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, clearing away heat and detoxifying, improving immunity and promoting healing, etc.

According to many years of research and inference by Mr. Makoto Kondo, a famous Japanese cancer researcher, metastasis usually occurs long before the primary lesion is discovered, just because the metastatic lesion is too small to be detected. We believe that when cancer cells are formed, they begin to send cancerous information throughout the body through the bioenergy field. Once cells have become cancerous, the critical value of normal cells becoming cancerous will be relatively lowered. That means that cells that were not cancerous in the first place will be encouraged to degenerate into cancer cells after receiving canceration information. Looking at the above-mentioned characteristics of cancer cells and looking at the homeopathic medical principles, we can have a deeper understanding of the characteristics of cancer cells. The "law of like" in homeopathy is a universal law for the recovery of human physiology and pathology. If cancer cells arise in the face of severe poison, they will release toxins to resolve them. This reflects the homeopathic medical principle of “like treats like”. An extremely acidic internal environment promotes canceration of cells, and cancer cells release acidic substances such as lactic acid to compete. If it is caused by hypoxia, cancer cells will create a hypoxic environment to respond. Inflammation promotes the production of cancer cells, so cancer cells create an inflammatory microenvironment to resist. If these measures were effective, there would be no need for cancer cells to exist. If it is ineffective, cancer cells will continue to fight and even pay the price of overcorrecting.

 

 

4. Attack, initiate repair, induce apoptosis and differentiation
      - the central idea of anti-cancer therapy

 

Cancer cells are not normal cells, and this abnormal state will not last long. When the body has sufficient conditions, cancer cells can be induced to undergo apoptosis or differentiate into normal cells. The most exciting research finding is that conditions that induce apoptosis and differentiation of cancer cells can be created.

 

Chinese scientists injected DDP, a widely used chemotherapy drug, into experimental mice with tumors, but they were unable to kill the cancer cells. However, if DDP and ganoderma polysaccharide are used together, tumors can be effectively eliminated. It must be pointed out that ganoderma lucidum polysaccharide alone has no significant effect.

 

DDP can cross-link DNA in cells and destroy the structure of DNA. This will trigger the cell repair mechanism. However, due to the extensive damage, it can only lead to cell apoptosis. However, this process of apoptosis did not occur. Only by using DDP and ganoderma lucidum polysaccharide at the same time will the repair mechanism be activated, because ganoderma lucidum polysaccharide is a powerful repairing agent.

We must clearly point out that the method of directly killing cancer cells is doomed to fail, because cancer cells are poorly differentiated cells with strong adaptability and drug resistance. After killing some cancer cells, the remaining cancer cells will initiate self-protection mechanism, transforming into a more ferocious type.

Cancer cells evolve from normal cells. Of course, they can also be reversed and transformed into normal cells. Inducing cancer cells to differentiate into normal cells is an effective anti-cancer method.

Cancer cells are abnormal cells that must undergo a "repair" process in order to transform into normal cells. Cells have powerful repair capabilities. Experiments have shown that as long as a small amount of nuclear components and part of the cytoplasm are retained, a complete new cell can still be regenerated. How to initiate the repair process is the core issue.

Cancer cells have their own stability and will not actively repair themselves. Moreover, from the cancer cell's point of view, they are normal and do not need repair at all. The only way is to force it to start the repair process. Attacking cancer cells causing damage to them is to destabilize this stability.

Cancer cells are abnormal cells, and those abnormalities are often the breakthrough points for attacking them. If cancer cells are attacked from several aspects at the same time, the damage caused is enough to activate the repair mechanism.

Research has found that there are many types of polysaccharides that have strong repairing effects, and can also activate and improve immune function. Activating and improving immune function is very important to promote the apoptosis and differentiation of cancer cells, because immune function is the dominant force, and only under its control can the repair process proceed in an orderly manner. There are several polysaccharides that can exert powerful induction and repair effects, such as fucoidan,
b-glucan, ganoderma lucidum polysaccharide, lentinan, aloe polysaccharide, ginseng polysaccharide, astragalus polysaccharide, yunzhi polysaccharide, polyporus polysaccharide, poria polysaccharides, spirulina polysaccharides, Brazilian mushroom polysaccharides, black fungus polysaccharides, etc., but they can only play a repair role after the cancer cells are attacked and damaged. Many chemotherapy patients improve after taking these polysaccharides.

The above polysaccharides also have an important role, that is, they can enhance the function of the immune system in many aspects.

The so-called polysaccharide is a polymer substance composed of many types of monosaccharide groups connected by glycosidic bonds. Different types of sugars are combined in various ways to form a wide variety of polysaccharides, each with different pharmacological activities. More and more studies have proven that polysaccharides can not only treat cancers that severely damage the body's immune system, but also treat a variety of immune deficiency diseases, such as chronic viral hepatitis, chronic diseases caused by certain bacteria and viruses, and can also treat rheumatism. Some polysaccharides can also induce the production of interferons.

In recent years, significant results have been achieved in the research on polysaccharide sugar bases. People began to realize that glycosyl groups have a wide range of pharmacological activities and play an important role in the occurrence and maintenance of life phenomena. Sugar groups exist on the cell surface of multicellular organisms and play an important role in transmitting messages between cells. They are indispensable tissues for maintaining body homeostasis. The receptors on the cell membrane are glycoproteins composed of polysaccharides and proteins. The polysaccharide component of the cell membrane is not only a supporting material, but also directly participates in the cell division process, and in many cases becomes the active site of mutual recognition structures between cells, cells and viruses, cells and antibodies, etc. Polysaccharide sugar groups play a very important role in repairing damaged cell membranes. Research shows that after aging cells are cultured with polysaccharides, their fluidity increases by 32% and their sealing degree increases by 11%. Most diseases are related to damage to cell membranes, and polysaccharides can help repair damaged cell membranes, so polysaccharides have a therapeutic effect on many diseases. In diseases such as rheumatism, some polysaccharides can also induce the production of interferon. Polysaccharides have two major characteristics. First, they have good affinity. Moreover, the polymers of polysaccharides are very delicate and can quickly penetrate into cells, reach directly to the cytoplasm and nucleus, directly involved in repairing damaged DNA genes.

Certain sugar groups have affinity for immune cells and can activate macrophages and natural killer cells to strengthen the function of the immune system. Polysaccharide is an immune modulator, not an immune enhancer. The difference between the two is very important. The reason is that immunity boosters tend to force the immune system to become overactive, exacerbating immune disease conditions. Polysaccharides are completely different from general immunity enhancers. They have a two-way regulatory effect, which can restore the balance of the immune system and allow the body to naturally produce an appropriate immune response.

Glucan refers to the most representative sugar, glucose, which is gathered in large amounts to form a carbohydrate with a large molecular weight. Its structure is mostly represented in the form of "a-glucan" or "b-glucan". Due to different binding methods, the anti-cancer effects of various glucans are different. Ganoderma lucidum contains 7 kinds of glucans, which are water-soluble polymer substances called "b-D-glucan"; shiitake mushrooms contain b-1,3 glucans, both of which have an activation effect on macrophages.

Agape's ATP5 product contains "
b-D 1,3-1,6 glucan" extracted from yeast walls. It is naturally extracted using unique biotechnology to ensure that its 1,6 branches are intact. Fucoidan is a polymer polysaccharide mainly composed of polysaccharide sulfate groups. It is found in seaweeds (brown algae) such as mozuku and wakame sporophyll. A large number of studies and clinical practice have proven that fucoidan has a strong repairing effect on damaged cells, and its effects on activating immune function, anti-tumor, and inducing apoptosis and differentiation of cancer cells are particularly prominent.

The biggest difference between fucoidan and other polysaccharides is that it is rich in sulfate groups
(SO42-), which gives it a unique repair effect, such as activating mucosal immune function, and is very helpful in repairing mucosal damage (such as gastric ulcers). In fact, the mucus component of the gastric mucosa is composed of sulfate groups. The sulfate group of fucoidan has the effect of adsorbing and removing gastric helicobacter pylori.

The effect of fucoidan on activating "intestinal immunity" is more significant than other polysaccharides. "Intestinal immunity" is the largest immune system in the human body, so fucoidan can play a huge role in regulating overall immune function.

There are reports that a terminal cancer patient who underwent chemotherapy drank a large amount of shiitake mushrooms soup every day and successfully overcame the cancer and is still alive and well many years later. If the reports are true, the mechanism for patients to successfully overcome cancer is to attack cancer cells with chemotherapy and induce apoptosis and differentiation of cancer cells with the repairing effect of lentinan.

Studies have shown that polysaccharides also have active ingredients that directly kill cancer cells. For example, PCV extracted from yunzhi glycopeptides has shown direct killing effects on cancer cells in vitro and in nude mice. Cancer cells are abnormal cells. They are in a state in which normal cells transform in order to save their lives when they encounter life-threatening conditions. They can quickly change their DNA to adapt to the external environment, so they can develop resistance to chemotherapy drugs in a short period of time. This is a common problem with using highly toxic drugs to kill cancer cells.

Over the years, various studies have proven that it is difficult to directly kill cancer cells with highly toxic drugs because cancer cells quickly degenerate into more primitive and more ferocious types and develop broad-spectrum drug resistance.

Any abnormal cell, under the right conditions, can transform into a normal cell. The task of medical scientists is to figure out how to transform cancer cells into normal cells. This is actually a process of inducing differentiation.

Cancer cells must undergo a "repair" process to transform into normal cells. How to start the process of cancer cell repair? There are two difficulties here. Asparagus has preventive and therapeutic effects on various cancer patients, especially for bladder cancer, lung cancer, skin cancer, breast cancer, lymphoma, and leukemia. Asparagus can treat leukemia, which has been recognized by the world. According to the Bulletin of the International Association of Cancer Patients, the condition begins to improve after taking asparagus for 2~4 weeks. Except for patients who have undergone chemotherapy, asparagus therapy is effective for all cancers. Eating asparagus can slow down the loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting, and dry mouth caused by radiotherapy and chemotherapy.

 

Asparagus can be fried, boiled, stewed, as a salad, and can also be used as soup. If the healing reaction produced by raw food is too strong, it can be eaten after cooking. After eating asparagus, it may cause a foul-smelling urine. This is due to the decomposition of asparagusic acid produced by metabolism into various sulfur-containing degradation products, such as methyl mercaptan, sulfide, etc., but this situation is harmless.

 

After eating asparagus, the body metabolizes asparagus acid into DMSO. Although many drugs can attack cancer cells, they need to be delivered directly to cancer cells with the help of drug primers. Otherwise, these drugs will be dispersed throughout the body, reducing their effective concentration and even harming normal cells. The two commonly used drugs primers are DMSO and sugar.

1.  DMSO + Bitter Almond Vinegar + Propolis

The molecule of vitamin B17 is composed of four parts, two of which are glucose, one is benzaldehyde, and the other is hydrocyanic acid.

Normal cells and cancer cells secrete different enzymes. Cancer cells contain large amounts of Beta-Glucosidase enzyme, while other parts of the body have none. When vitamin B17 comes into contact with the Beta-Glucosidase enzyme at the cancer cell site, the chemical reaction synergistically combines benzaldehyde and hydrocyanic acid into a super poison, directly killing the cancer cells.

Vinegar can help eliminate lactic acid that accumulates around tumors, eliminating their defensive perimeter and allowing immune cells to attack cancer cells.

Vinegar contains powerful acetate enzyme, which can break down and destroy cancer cell membranes, so vinegar has the function of attacking cancer cells.

2.  DMSO + sodium bicarbonate

Sodium bicarbonate is an irresistible chemical substance for cancer cells. Because it does not form drug resistance, its high alkalinity will have a devastating impact on cancer cells. Sodium bicarbonate allows more oxygen to enter the cancer cells than they can handle and cannot survive high concentrations of oxygen.

Cancer cells survive through fermentation-based metabolism. Wherever there is fermentation, there is yeast, also known as fungus. There are a large number of fungal microorganisms in cancer cells that assist the anaerobic sugar metabolism of cancer cells. If these fungi can be eliminated, cancer cells will no longer be able to survive through anaerobic sugar metabolism.

Antifungal drugs do not work against cancer cells because the fungus mutates rapidly to protect itself, however sodium bicarbonate does not have the structural complexity that the fungus can easily encode, making adaptation impossible for the fungus so it cannot protect itself.

Sodium bicarbonate + sugar

Cancer cells love sugar. When sodium bicarbonate combines with sugar, it can induce the cancer cells to open their doors, and the sodium bicarbonate will then enter the cancer cells, causing irreparable and devastating blows.

3.  DMSO + papaya leaf soup

Papaya digestive enzyme is a rare all-round digestive enzyme in nature. It can digest protein, starch and fat at the same time, and works in any acid-base environment. That means it can work in the entire digestive tract or any part of the body.

Studies have found that the most effective digestive enzymes that can help transform cancer cell membranes are those that can digest protein, starch and fat at the same time, and papaya enzyme happens to have this property. Vitamin B3 plays a very important role in the health of the body. Lack of vitamin B3 can cause nausea, anemia, headache, fatigue, forgetfulness, insomnia, skin and oral lesions, etc.

In the human body, vitamin B3 is first converted into nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD) before exerting its effect.

The dietary precursors of NAD include niacin, niacinamide and nicotinamide riboside, collectively known as niacin or vitamin B3.

NAD is a coenzyme found in every cell in the body. NAD exists in two forms: oxidized and reduced, abbreviated NAD+ and NADH respectively.

In metabolism, NAD participates in redox reactions, transferring electrons from one reaction to another. Therefore, coenzymes exist in two forms in cells: NAD+ is an oxidizing agent that accepts electrons from other molecules and is reduced, forming NADH, which can then be used as a reducing agent to donate electrons. NAD+ is an energy-providing molecule in cells used for metabolism, building new cells, neutralizing free radicals and repairing DNA damage. It sends signals within cells that allow mitochondria to convert food into energy. It also “turns off” genes that speed up the aging process, improving lifespan. Although the body is able to make NAD+ from nutrients in food, this ability gradually decreases as we age, causing NAD+ levels to decrease significantly, which increases the risk of nerve and muscle degeneration, decline in cardiometabolic health, and many more health problems.

Dietary precursors of NAD, including Niacin, Niacinamide and Nicotinamide riboside, can all be converted into NAD. Therefore, appropriate supplementation of these precursors is an effective way to increase NAD+ levels in the body.

Scientists from the University of New South Wales in Australia have discovered that a lack of NAD can hinder the normal development of the baby's organs in the womb of pregnant women. Researchers conducted experiments on mice with a similar human NAD deficiency and found that after taking vitamin B3, the experimental mice successfully prevented miscarriages and did not give birth to mice with the defect. Glaucoma is one of the most common neurodegenerative diseases, affecting approximately 80 million people worldwide. In a study conducted at the University of Arizona's Arizona Cancer Center, medical researchers found that niacin significantly reduced the incidence of skin cancer in mice exposed to ultraviolet radiation.

In a study conducted by the Department of Molecular and Experimental Medicine at The Scripps Research Institute in California, researchers found that reduced levels of the NAD coenzyme increase the risk of tumor cell metastasis.

In 2008, the Cancer Council of New South Wales awarded Professor Diona Damian and her team at the University of Sydney a research grant to find new ways to prevent and treat skin cancer.

A total of 386 people participated in the trial, all of whom had been diagnosed with at least two non-melanoma skin cancers in the past five years, meaning they were at high risk of developing more cancers. They were randomly assigned to receive twice-daily doses of nicotinamide or a placebo for one year. During the 12-month study, a total of 800 new skin cancers developed in this group of patients.

The final findings, published in the New England Journal of Medicine, were a sensation. The research team found that those who took nicotinamide had a 23% lower incidence of non-melanoma skin cancer and a 13% reduction in the number of precancerous lesions compared with the placebo group.

A new study in rats suggests that nicotinamide riboside could be used to treat or prevent nerve pain caused by chemotherapy drugs. The findings from researchers at the University of Iowa were recently (2017) published in the Journal of the International Association for the Study of Pain. The researchers will further test it in cancer patients to see if it can reduce nerve pain caused by chemotherapy.

Medical scientists use vitamin B3 to relieve drug addicts and find that it can relieve various drug addictions and also produce a series of unexpected health benefits. Locking them in fat protects organs and tissues from damage, but this is only a stopgap measure and may still cause health problems even though they are no longer circulating. These stored toxins can cause metabolic damage, such as damaging mitochondrial function.

Fat tissue levels can affect our endocrine system, affecting appetite hormones such as leptin; insulin-producing beta cells will be hit, leading to insulin resistance.

In 1960, a retired professor entered the psychiatric department of our hospital because of mental illness. He was a very famous gentleman in Saskatchewan. He was diagnosed with bronchial lung cancer. His tumor showed up on X-rays and could also be seen on a bronchoscope. The hospital did a biopsy.

He became delirious while doctors decided what to do, so they concluded he had metastatic tumors in his brain. Due to his mental condition, surgery was not possible, so he was administered cobalt radiation. This did nothing to help his mental illness. He was admitted to our ward, where he remained for about two months, completely deranged. He was placed on the final roster.

I had discovered by then that if these patients were given large amounts of niacin and vitamin C, their condition would often improve, regardless of their diagnosis. On a Friday, he started taking three grams each of niacin and vitamin C a day. By Monday, he was back to normal.

A few days later, I said to him, "Do you understand you have cancer?" He said, "Yes, I do." He was friendly to me because I had treated his wife for alcoholism before. I said to him, "If you agree to take these two vitamins for life, I will give them to you for free. In 1960, I was the only doctor in Canada who had access to large amounts of vitamin C and niacin. They were distributed through our hospital pharmacies." He agreed, which meant he had to come to my office every month to pick up two bottles of vitamins. Little did I know that this might help his cancer. I was only interested in his mental state. However, to my surprise he didn't die.

Twelve months later I had lunch with the director of the cancer clinic, who was a friend of mine. I said to him, "What do you think of this patient?" He said, "We can't understand that we can't see the tumor anymore." I thought he was going to say, "That's awesome." So I asked, " Well, what was your reaction?" He responded, "We're starting to think we made the wrong diagnosis." The patient died of coronary artery disease 30 months after I first saw him.

This is another very interesting case. A few years later, my mother, who had been treated for depression, came back to see me. She felt frustrated again. She said she had a 16-year-old daughter who had just been diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her arm. Her surgeon recommended amputation of the arm. She was very upset about this, so I asked her, "Can you convince your surgeon not to amputate the arm immediately?" I told her the story about the lung cancer patient. She brought her daughter, and I started her taking niacinamide, 3 grams a day, plus vitamin C, three grams a day. She made a full recovery and is still doing well, with no need for surgery. At this point I have concluded that niacin  may be the therapeutic factor. The reason is of course simple. I like B3, I have no interest in vitamin C.

When I moved to Victoria, another strange thing happened. In 1979, a woman suffered from jaundice. During surgery, a 6 cm diameter mass was discovered on the head of the pancreas. They were afraid of having a biopsy, which was apparently standard procedure. They thought the biopsy might allow the tumor to spread. The surgeon stitched her up and told her to write her will. They said she would survive no more than three to six months.

She was a very tough lady and she had read Norman Cousins' book Anatomy of a Disease. So she said to her doctor, "Just drop it, I won't die." She started taking vitamin C herself, 12 grams a day.

When her doctor found out what she was doing, he asked her to come see me because by that time I was already known as a doctor who was good at using vitamins. I asked her to take 40 grams of vitamin C every day, plus niacin, zinc, multivitamins and multimineral preparations. I had her change her diet away from high protein and fat.

I didn't hear from her again for about six months. One Sunday, she called me. Usually if you get a call from a patient on a Sunday, it's bad news. She immediately said, "Dr. Hofer, great news!" I asked, "What happened?" She said, "They just did a CT scan and they couldn't see the tumor," and then she said, "They can't believe it. . They thought there was something wrong with the machine, so they redid it a second time. Still nothing was seen the second time." Her last CT scan, in 1984, found no tumor, and she is still alive today.

As a final case, I will detail a man born in 1908. His mother died of cancer and his father died of coronary artery disease at age 80. My patient had a myocardial infarction in 1969, another in 1977, and then underwent coronary artery bypass grafting. In March 1978, he suddenly developed pain in his left groin and leg. In February 1979, he developed a bulge in his left groin, followed by severe pain on movement.

During surgery, a large invasive sarcoma was discovered and part of it was removed, leaving the rest the size of a grapefruit. The tumor eroded the pubic rami. They concluded that the tumors were not sensitive to radiotherapy. In March, he underwent palliative radiotherapy of 4,500 rads to his left half. The pain disappeared at the end of radiotherapy.

On May 28, he developed a severe staph infection. In June, he was devastated because his wife was dying of cancer and he was suffering from a chronic infection draining. In July, he still had purulent discharge in two areas. A mass is now visible and palpable in the left iliac region above the inguinal ligament.

In January 1980, he met me for the first time. I asked him to start taking 12 grams of vitamin C every day and suggested that his referring doctor give him 2.5 grams of intravenous vitamin C twice a week, and he agreed. I gave him niacin, vitamin B6 and zinc to balance it out. In April, as the mass began to recede, the oncologist wrote, "That's interesting, it must be something else." In other words, the patient thought it was the vitamin C that was helping him, but the oncologist said, no, it wasn't. The oncologist wrote a note in the document, "He may be responding to chemotherapy." But he never received chemotherapy. The infection is gone.

In May 1980, his X-ray showed reconstruction of the left superior pubic ramus. He wrote to me in July to tell me how grateful he was. In February 1988, he returned to the cancer clinic for treatment of some recurrent facial skin cancer. He died of coronary artery disease in the fall of 1989 at the age of 81. The man survived 10 years after being diagnosed with cancer.

14.  Living and coexisting with cancer

Pathological autopsy found that 50% of non-cancer patients had cancerous tumors of 2~3 mm, but these tiny cancerous tumors did not cause any harm. Many people are diagnosed with cancer only after they die. These people were in pretty good health during their lifetime and had no idea they had cancer. The number of cases of thyroid cancer, pancreatic cancer and prostate cancer found in autopsies is 30~40 times that detected by doctors. Doctors in the United States conducted an experiment and performed autopsies on a group of elderly people aged 65 to 85 who died normally. The results showed that all of these people had tumors, some even reaching about 10 centimeters. After the death of Japan's most famous gold and silver grannies, doctors discovered that they had a variety of cancer cells in their bodies, but none of them had symptoms of cancer during their lifetimes. This shows that people can coexist with cancer for a long time without experiencing symptoms. How to maintain the dynamic balance of the internal environment is the key that determines the onset of the disease.

This leads to another topic: Is early detection and early treatment of cancer a good thing? This is originally a good thing, because any early-stage cancer is easy to treat, but it is not necessarily a good thing to treat it with the current "orthodox" medical methods, that is, surgery, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy. People can control cancer well, live with the cancer for a long time, and even live for the rest of their lives.

In fact, many studies have shown that canceration of normal cells is a temporary response that normal cells take to extend their lives when faced with a harsh environment. They then transform into normal cells after the harsh, life-threatening environment disappears. For example, normal cells cannot survive in the absence of oxygen, but cancer cells can continue to survive. Normal cells cannot survive in the face of intense radiation, but cancer cells can continue to survive. The first priority in treating cancer is to eliminate the environment that causes cells to become cancerous. It can be seen that cancer cells are not evil, but the savior of extending life.

Cancer does not divide people into two clear-cut states of health or cancer, but there are varying degrees of gray realms between the black and white poles. It usually takes 15 to 30 years from the first cancer cell to the onset of symptoms. During this period, cancer cells will cause varying degrees of damage to the body, but there is no danger to life. Even if severe symptoms occur and there are only a few months left to live, the above-mentioned fine-tuning and reversal methods can still be used to slowly move the patient from a critical state to a stable state, allowing the patient to coexist with the cancer for a period of time before adopting various methods to destroy cancer cells. The time to live with cancer can be 3~5 years, or 10~20 years, or even until the end of life. Surviving with the tumor is an expedient and the best strategy. Many severe cancer cases coexisted with the cancer for several years after treatment. However, the patients believed that the treatment was ineffective because the tumors could not be eradicated, so they resorted to more intense and more lethal therapies, and they soon succumbed to the treatment. Cancer does not mean the beginning of the end, but the beginning of a new life: a new life of living with cancer. Many patients begin to pay attention to their physical health, and as a result, their bodies are healthier than before the onset of the disease. A blessing in disguise indeed.



15.  Cancer prevention

The World Health Organization's Cancer Advisory Committee (1981) believes that 1/3 of cancers can be prevented, 1/3 of cancers can be cured if diagnosed early, and the other 1/3 of cancers can be treated to prolong life and reduce suffering. Preventing the occurrence of cancer is more important than any treatment.

More than 85% of human cancers are caused by environmental factors, including the natural environment and social environment. The natural environment includes air, water, electromagnetism, food, pesticides, etc., while the social environment consists of occupations, living habits, and hobbies.

Among many carcinogenic factors, dietary factors play a very important role. According to research, 30

The blackened and burned parts of barbecue contain strong mutagens, which are extremely carcinogenic. In 217 AD, Fu Xuan of the Western Jin Dynasty put forward the wise saying "disease enters from the mouth" in the book "Kou Ming". To prevent cancer, you must first change your eating habits. A diet high in protein and calories increases the risk of cancer. People who have unresolved feelings of dissatisfaction and anger, as well as those who suffer from disappointment and pessimism are more likely to develop cancer. Research shows that cancer patients often suppress their emotions, are pessimistic about the future, and are excessively self-blame and anxious. Those who tended to be severely depressed were three times more likely to die from cancer than those in the control group.

Negative emotions such as anxiety, despair, frustration, sadness, depression, resentment, grief, etc. will promote the generation of cancer cells and are not conducive to treatment and recovery. For cancer patients, the care, understanding and encouragement of family and friends are extremely important. Facing cancer with a normal mind is often better than a panacea. Remember, be sure to get rid of the influence of negative emotions. Everything should be faced with an optimistic and open-minded attitude.

The factors that cause cancer are diverse and multi-layered. When several carcinogenic factors appear at the same time, the critical value of canceration will be relatively lowered. This is why the chances of getting cancer are getting higher and higher, and the age of getting cancer is getting younger and younger. Human beings have wreaked havoc on the environment, polluted it, and abandoned the way to maintain health, and finally reaped the consequences.

A report from the London Broadcasting Corporation on October 16, 2010 stated that the University of Manchester in the UK discovered that cancer is a modern disease through research on mummies. The latest research from the university concludes that cancer is entirely a disease that modern people "inflict on themselves". 16.  Effective Anti-Cancer Therapy - Summary

Cancer is a special disease. Only by having a correct understanding of the generation, proliferation and dying characteristics of cancer cells can we formulate effective anti-cancer strategies. If you use general detoxification therapy to fight cancer, the effect will definitely not be ideal.

Cancer cells are abnormal cells and must undergo a "repair" process before they can transform into normal cells. However, cancer cells have their own stability and will not actively repair, so they must be forced to activate the repair mechanism. Studies have found that if cancer cells are attacked and further damaged, it is possible to activate the cancer cell repair mechanism.

Cancer cells are abnormal cells, and their abnormalities are targets for attack.
